Welcome!

We welcome you to The-Environment.net. We sincerely hope that this site will be of benefit to you by answering questions you might have about the environment and by providing information that will help you better understand what you can do as an individual, family, or group to help preserve our world.

Our main goal is to perpetuate a global environmental awareness to ensure the longevity of the natural resources of the earth. We propose to achieve these goals by:

(1) responding to questions in an open arena via The Question & Answer Forum.

There are a lot of different opinions and data covering all aspects of the environment, and all are subject to interpretation. A goal of The-Environment.net is to post all credible opinions and information for your reference. We value all questions and opinions.

All site visitors are welcome to browse the Forum but we request that you register there if you wish to particiapte by asking and answering questions. Registration only takes a minute and is automatic as long as you have a working e-mail address. Your registration will give you the option of having us notify you when a Forum question is answered.

(2) offering access to vendors providing environmentally friendly products and services.

We at The-Environment.net feel that one of the main benefits of our Web site is to spotlight current environmental technologies from around the world. We will be providing links to environmentally friendly products to promote the role of all of us in the world.

(3) providing links to local, national, and international environmental organizations.

One of the ways we hope to answer your questions will be providing links to other Web sites. These will include private, educational, and governmental information sites, plus links to local, national, and international environmental groups. Please send us your site suggestions.

Coming soon are forums for open discussions regarding environmental issues from around the world.

Also, we will provide space for your environmental programs to encourage volunteers to aid in your projects and goals.

We know that as more people take small steps to help the environment they will start becoming part of the solution instead of part of the problem. We believe that many small steps will eventually grow into large ones and make a difference in the environment of our world.
